Regular personal fitness will help you with:
Weight Loss
Regular correct exercise can help make you pain free (if you suffer with back pain) and will improve your overall health, including weight loss and reduced body fat.
Core Strength
Core strength refers to the strength of your torso and the stability of your back so that you can perform regular body movements without the threat of pain or injury.
Muscle Tone
Muscle tone describes leanness of the muscle as well as strength. Strength refers to how much weight you can lift, push and pull. It will also improve your body posture and movability, along with your strength at the limbs.
Posture Analysis
Poor posture is often linked to poor muscle control. Under-active and over-active muscles pull on your torso to create posture imbalances.
OUR FIRST FITNESS SESSION
Your first session with me will include:
- a health consultation that will enable individual goal setting
- an exercise test to determine any muscular imbalances that need to be corrected
- a health check that will include:
- blood pressure check
- PARQ (standard health questionnaire)
- body measurements
- postural assessment
Over the course of subsequent sessions, we will look to improve your posture and any muscular imbalances. In addition, I can help you produce a 7-day food diary and give advice regarding your daily food consumption, nutrition and overall healthy living
